Shirts created by Lucy and Alice are now for sale!

Hi everyone,

I am very excited to announce that Lucy and Alice were recently asked to create shirts for a company called Paper Clouds Apparel.

Paper Clouds Apparel is a company that is in business for people with Down syndrome. Kids with Down syndrome design the shirts, and adults with Down syndrome pack and ship the shirts.

Every two weeks, Paper Clouds Apparel features a new "artist," who is always a child with Down syndrome. The current artist is Alice! Lucy helped Alice with the writing and designs, but Alice did a lot of the coloring. Please see attached for the bio on Alice and the designs the girls created.

Half of the proceeds from our shirt sales go to Paper Clouds Apparel, and the other half of the proceeds go to a nonprofit organization of our choice. We chose Brittany's Baskets of Hope. This amazing organization is run by an adult with Down syndrome named Brittany. She sends "baskets of hope" to new parents who receive a Down syndrome diagnosis for their child. Each basket is full of up-to-date / positive literature about Down syndrome, cute onesies, toys AND a copy of my letter to new Down syndrome parents that was recently published on Yahoo. :)
