What's in that extra chromosome?

When Alice was born, I thought her extra chromosome would mean extra stress, extra heartbreak, extra expense, extra frustration and extra tears.

I was wrong.

Turns out her extra chromosome is actually extra laughs, extra love, extra advocacy, extra hugs, extra kisses, extra appreciation of differences and soooooo much extra joy.

So maybe Alice doesn't have an extra chromosome after all. Maybe the rest of us are just missing one.
